Now why do guys like you and me know what a duvet is?
Is this essential to our survival, in the hunter-gatherer sense of the word?
    No.
    What are we then?

    Fembots out...

Takes about 15-30 seconds... if I want.

    It's a pretty simple procedure.

Inside out, grab corners, pull. :)

On a bad day I get trapped in the inside out cover and just lie down and sleep for a while!

I don't know if this is a common swedish thing but in my apartment anyway the duvet cover has a small hole in each top corner that you can put your hand through

You just stick your hands in, grab the corners of the duvet and let the cover drop. No problem at all getting it right to the corners

    Genius!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,658 ✭✭✭✭The Sweeper

Takes me a good five mins to get it right. Then again, I'm seriously in love with my bed, so I have a king-sized duck down duvet that I'm wrestling in and out of the cover.

(Seriously in love with my bed. Would spend more money on sheets and duvets and pillows than I would on almost any other single item when buying.)

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,262 ✭✭✭✭Joey the lips

To change a cover, Forever jesus I hate them I hate them more than Ironing. Infact I would rather Iron. Duvets sheets hate them especially the ones that are elastic and fold back at yeah

But LOVE my bed especially when the o/h is in it. The problem is about 2 in the morning so the kids love it as well :(

Takes me hours....I have a double bed all to myself. :pac:

Which also means a double duvet. I think my tactic is all wrong, I take the duvet off the bed, lie out the cover, then grab the corners of the duvet and go under cover and attempt to reach the corners, sometomes I fail, sometimes I succeed.

In the absence of genius swedish holes the best way is to turn the cover inside out, stick your hands in to the corners, grab the corners of the duvet and let the cover fall back the right way out. Simples :)

See, I'm a pretty arrogant bloke. I'm going to note your advice, which is probably the best way to do it, but I'm still gonna go with my strategy as I try to perfect my way :pac:
