My local won the league last night winning an entertaining but ****ty final. there was a bit of controversy as 6 of the other teams players were constantly called for putting there foot on the oche. Its was only mm as they throw with their front foot angled toes off ground.

Does anyone know the exact ruling on this as they started arguing saying Dudbridge does it at pdc events?

oche should be raised, even a cm would probaly do.toe to oche then.reading your post it sounds like there was only tape down marking the oche.technically your right,no part of the toe should be over the oche, just cos dudbridge does it doesn't mean its right, just means he wasn't pulled up over it.

congratulations on winning the league by the way, well done.what was the final score last night?

something else i just thought of,the ref can warn the player thats stepping over the oche a couple of times and if he still does it can call a no score.i've reffed a fair few finals and i've warned players about stepping over the oche but have never called a no score.dont think i'd have made it out of the pub if i had of.haha, i'd be strung up.

no the oche was raised about an inch i think and his toe was on top but not over if that makes sense, right on the angle maybe 2mm onto the oche maybe not even on it.

Im actually on the B Team and the A team that won it. Finished 5-4 with the final leg going about 12 darts each at D1. Great entertainment but iffy darts. So tense the captain of the A teams nose exploded with blood when the last double went in, weirdest thing i ever saw. Weirdest nose bleed from stress i ever saw anyway, if it went on much longer he'd of had a stroke.

the way you've described it,personally i wouldn't pull them up over it,they're not getting any advantage in that.
