    Hi all

I just made the mistake of buying an NTSC video camera off the net (Sony DCR Sr85)... I'm assuming this can't just be plugged into a telly over here... Is there any kind of adapter or anything I can get to convert to PAL?

    Thanks!

Depends on the TV, you might find yours will display NTSC.

yes most tvs(but not all) can play NTSC. Are you planning to put it onto dvd? Most programs will allow you to change it to PAL but i dont know how much this will effect the quality or how long it will take

NTSC will be poorer quality and will suffer from poor colour.
