ya id def. agree with mc swiggins. was there lately on a hen, lovely food and atmosphere.right in the city. if you want somewhere really posh for a treat try the G hotel- expensive though.

I had mine in cactus jacks and it was gorgeous, we had a great meal and have been dying to get to galway for it again, steak medallions all the way.

dont know what your budget is like but have a look at the g hotel - very girlie!
Or at least go there for the best cocktails in town.

For a group of less then 20, I would really recommend Cookes Wine bar. Was at a hen there before and it was great, we had our own room

Nimmo's has a gorgeous room upstairs, over looking the water and really central and the food knocks the pants off most restaurants in Galway.

Call them for a special menu, ask to speak to Aoibheann, she's a cool chic!

Id recommend Cava's on Domnick St. Really nice spanish Tapas they also do main meals and reasonably priced. They have two sittings 7:30 or 9:30pm.

Have to agree with everyone else on McSwiggans, went there for a hen party dinner and they were really nice, they just tell you on arrival that it is a family restuarant so you are not allowed any of the usual things that Hen parties love to bring out with them! :P  Enjoy!!

You could always go there, they do a really good deal, a nice get together ladies special where you get pampered at spa´s organised days and nights out. Go for it - you´re only single once ha ha
