Hurling glove

Just a quick enquiry to find out does anyone know where I could find a hurling glove like donal og cusack wears???

I want a glove to cover my hand so that I can catch the ball without doing more damage to an existing injury I have. The palm is padded so kinda protects your palm.

I have tried sports shops but have had no luck, any ideas???

What type of injury and is it recent? I forgot to take my wedding ring off a couple of years ago and dislocated my finger as a result of catching a high ball that hit the ring. Hand ballooned out on both the outside and inside on the palm. Could not catch a ball for weeks it was that tender and bruised internally. Is it something like that injury you are talking about? I tried even a palm-padded weight-lifters mit to try to ease it but it was no use, and I just had to wait it out until the bruising was gone. Fecking sore. Never forgot to take the ring off again!

I will ignore the last post.
I got hit with a hurl a while ago and the band was loose, it ended up cutting me down between my fingers, was fairly deep. Its still healing, and want to take some precautions to prevent it happening again.

I would say if i got a belt with a ball or hurl across it it could split open again, cos of where it is, and it is a rely fragile area.... Just think that a glove like that could help.

An ash guard is no good because i want to to protect my palm not my knuckles.

from the pictures i have seen it looks like a nomis 3/4 length rugby mit . i have a pair of these for another sport they provide no padding but provide super grip in both the dry and wet
    got my pair from here
    http://www.eggcatcher.com/product.php?xProd=22456&xSec=29
other options include to kooga gloves from the same site
    http://www.eggcatcher.com/product.php?xProd=22749&xSec=29
again with all the rugby style mits you will not get any padded support so weight lifting gloves or maybe cycling mitts might be an option

I have had a look at the weights glove, but think its too padded, wont be able to catch the ball... At a loss at this stage cos I cant seem to find anything to fit properly or suit the injury.. and to make things worse, its not healing properly, so it will be even longer before I get back on the pitch.

Im looking into haveing some sort of contraption made to hold my two fingers together, and then a slim bit of padding covering the wound, which could strap around my wrist.

I have been to a few sports shops, they have suggested hockey mitts, weight mitts, but nothing seems to suit!!
