Granted it's from the Star but apparently he's fallen out with Keith Tracey this time and has told him he'll never pick him for Ireland again. This is the eight player he's ''fallen out with'' in his time in charge. Apart from the fact he's been a pretty p**s poor manager of the U-21's he seems to have little or no man management skills at all. How the FAI can continue to employ him is beyond belief but then again he's probably very pally with one of the blazers .

Its incredible that this man is still in charge of the U21's. His record is very poor and he has sullied the relationship with a number of players. He must have some weight in the FAI.

Any of the U-21 matches i've gone to, the team didn't look the most tactically aware compared to their opponents. Seemed to be a lot of hoofing and hoping for the best. This has been over the past 4 years, so the players have all changed, all thats stayed the same is Givens. Really don't rate the guy at all.

Who are the other players he fell out with?

Didnt he give Glen Crowe a start a few years ago when he was in temp charge of the 1st team?

Givens has been poor, no doubt. HOWEVER, one has to take into account how appealing the Irish U21 managerial job would be to prospective replacements. And it wouldn't surprise me if some of the players he has fallen out with are jumped up morons with an unjustifiable inflated opinion of their own worth within the professional game as a whole.

One of those eight players is Richie Foran after all.

Steve Heighway is available AFAIK and did a fantastic job with the Liverpool youth teams winning the FA youth cup a number of times. Granted the international game is different but all the same he has recent experience of working with young players and would probably have a better understanding of them than Givens would.

Keiths definatley one for the future too, but luckily enough I wouldn't say he's too far away from the 1st team

    He has fallen out with
    Stephen Ireland
    David Connolly
    think Richard Dunne
    Roy Keane
    Keith Treacy
    Chris Mccann

the lad Treacy actually called to say he would be late by a bit. Its not like he just vanished
