I'm sorry OP but playsuits have been mentioned in this forum many times and usually in a negative light. The one pictured certainly looks like something to sleep in rather than something you'd wear out.

I don't think any sort of accessory would make it acceptable outdoors.

Runners, fluorescent sweatbands and pop socks.

I'm looking to get a posse going to hunt down the damn buyer in River Island to begin with. I walked into one of their stores a couple of weeks ago and thought I was having flashbacks to the 80s. What are they thinking trying to reintroduce those awful clothes again ? In the mens section I saw they had white and grey slip ons along with skinny ties. Just like I wore at my confirmation.

I could see that as a coverup for the beach. Other than that...well. If you must wear it, I guess it MIGHT be ok with a short, little cardigan left open (make sure the cardigan is not longer than the hem of the shorts) and flat shoes, maybe flip-flops or slides. Don't wear it with high heels. (unless you want to look like a woman of the night..lol)

I like it :), It's so simple ya could do so much with it! It's very summertime too though. I'd keep it funky to make it more seasonal.. ya could wear it with a orange parka like this ...

Then add a funky black stud double belt, Black chunky long necklace, Black tights and these shoes...

And a bit of eyeliner to the mix!

I love playsuits, but i have to say, i dont think theirs much you can do with this. In my opininon id just wear it as a summer outfit on the beach or maybe shopping. If i was to wear it shopping etc id put some kind of cardi/ jacket over it though

  • Are you sure it's not supposed to be pyjamas? I honestly don't think it looks suitable for wearing outside.

Yeah looks to me like you'd just wear it lounging around the house, seems a bit light to wear on its own.

Actually on the topshop website, It said to theme this playsuit with chunky platforms and a blazer. . .so I doubt that they would say that if they were pjs. . . Not unless they are going for the Ballymun market!!

topshopchav saying it dosnt make it so
it would take a seriously classless slapper to wear that out to a club.
maybe a model type girl could pull it off but the average woman would look a right state imo

    I defo agree- they're summer pj's, sorry!

Personally I wouldn't go out in it unless I was in a sunny climate on a beach, but in saying that I think if OP is funky enough then she could pull it off in Dublin, If she themed it with some opaques. I've see girls dressed in far sluttier outfits than that.

I'd wear it with a really thin knit black long sleeved top underneath, black opaque tights and some cool flats or heels. Possibly from Irregular Choice.
I've actually been considering getting that playsuit, I think there's loads of things you could do with it!
