Irish teen girls are biggest drinkers in Europe.

FEMALE teenagers are getting drunk more often than their male counterparts.

A new survey on the behaviour of 15- and 16-year-olds has revealed Irish teenagers are likely to get drunk more often than their European peers.

It reveals 26pc of Irish teens were drunk in the last month alone, compared to a European average of 18pc.

More girls (29pc) than boys (25pc) reported being drunk during the previous month.

Move over Grand Slam Champs and Bernard Dunne !! The Ladies are now #1 in Europe !!

I just listened to two college girls talk non-stop about their drinking exploits on a bus journey today. Granted, it gave me a hard on at times but fuucks sake it was pitiful too.

Yeah I hate this attitude of how great I was last night with all the shots I took. I like a bit of drink occasionaly but not every night of the week. There is plenty other ways to have fun but Irish people only know one way.

Exactly. You don't need drink to have a good time. It's a cliche now but it's damned true. I'm a lad myself and it's distressing to see what it does to girls and lads in town of a night. I'll have a few pints but I won't try and give myself liver cancer or any of that ****e.
