Garmin Question

I have a Garmin 405 that I mainly use for running but also have it paired to cadence sensor on my road bike so I use it when I am out on that as well and can see the data when I have updated to my PC. I have decided to get a second sensor for my fixie but started to think why not get a 705 as it comes with 2 bike mounts and will have the cadence sensor as wel. On ebay the 705 package comes in at around €290 delivered. then yesterday I somehow managed to loose the ANT stick for my 405 and the replacement cost with delivery would be €25.

    My questions are:

Will the ANT stick that comes with the 705 pair with both a 705 and a 405?
Can I pair the one HRM to both units?
Will the data from both units upload to the one instance of Garmin Training Center?
Where is the best value to be had when purchasing a 705?

    thanks

Thanks for the info, the ANT stick is the wireless usb datalink thingy that allows data to be transfered between the unit and your PC

The edge 705 comes with a USB cable. Same with my 305 forerunner. Dunno how the Ant stick would work out, but you should be OK using the cables?

The 705 doesn't come with an ANT stick, as Raam says it uses a cable. I don't believe the 405 has the option of a cable?

Nope, have to use the ANT stick with the 405.

The USB cable on the 405 only charges the unit. Need to do more research as the 705 supports ANT+ devices (HRM, Cadence...) I will try and get in touch witht eh Garmin support people.

    Thanks
