I seen the warner in the ambassadore in Kill a few years ago -He was doing a talk on vermin control to raise funds for the preservation of the grey legged partridge. Anyway, he gave a talk on vermin control - fox hunting, grey crowe shooting, lurching foxes & how to call. At the time there were videos, DVD's etc for sale but I didn't purchase - sorry now.
I've been searching on the web for a long time now trying to find a site where I could buy some of his videos/DVD's etc but to no avail.
Just wondering if anyone knows who I am on about & if they might have a link to him.

    Thanks.
    S.

The DVD's do seem pretty expensive, but when I seen him on the video that night in the Ambassadore I thought he was excellent. I might see if I can pick up any of his DVD's second hand somewhere. Also seems I've had a slight spelling error while doing my search....which explains a lot!:o

    Thanks again for the help.

Try to do some vermin control this year. It's all too easy to not do anything about it & that's what happened other years. Didn't have a good pheasant season last year & possibly down to the fact of lack of vermin control, so trying to do something about it this year. We do a little bit of lamping but have had varied success calling the foxes. The electronic caller isn't great, but is just ok. We used to use a bottle & aeroboard, sometimes it would work great 7 then other times it would be a complete flop. So calling is the number one priority at the moment. Lots of vermin around the area at the minute, using larsen traps with good success for the magpies.

    Thanks.
