Used this company to book a hotel stay recently. Havent used anything like this before and Im not sure about how the payment works. It says on the voucher I printed out that the fee to the hotel is paid. When i emailed 1800hotels, they told me the hotel fee was prepaid already and just to show them the voucher when i arrive at the hotel.

Does this mean that Ill be billed the full amount to my credit card on the next statement? Or will it be in 2 months time, when i due to stay at the hotel?????

You should be charged in full for this within the next week, they are usually quite fast taking payment.

Just so you know in future, if you call 1800hotels instead of booking online, you get the option of a flexible payment - you pay 20% deposit and the balance 6 weeks before arrival. This is handy in certain circumstances if your travel date is beyond that time frame.

You will be billed for the full amount now, it should appear on your next statement. I used 1800 hotels last year for a hotel in Paris and found them really great to deal with. They were very quick to reply to any queries I had. We got breakfast included in the price, which we would have had to pay for if we'd booked with the hotel direct.

I did email the hotel directly a couple of weeks before we went, just to confirm that they had our booking and record of it being paid. I would always do this anyway when booking through a third party. They did have our booking and we had nothing to pay at the end of our stay.
