Trying to plan my honeymoon and the list of places to go to seems limited only by budget so tought i would post up what i was looking for and see if any boardies have had the experience im after.

Around 15days in early to mid sep. Was looking at hawai but dont like spending all my money on flights when it could be enjoyed doing activites somewhere else.

Not fussy with acomodation as long as its comfortable self catering anything is fine.

Both love the water somewhere with clear blue ocean pos option of boat trip or snorkelling that sort of thing. Bit of time on the beach and swimming and so on.

Want the option of doing a few activities general fun stuff maybe a walk or two.

Basically your general relaxing holiday with fun stuff to do nothing to rushed but not boring something memerable.

check out the east coast of africa like tanzania, zanzibar, kenya etc. amazing beaches, and you can even add a little safari if you're on the mainland. or mauritius for a pure beach holiday

2 1/2 so not huge but should be decent none the less.

Was thinking of doing the nice relaxing hotel thing for 1 week and the rest of the time something a bit different camping or something adventurous.

We're early 20's so open to anything

As far as places to go, Im in Florida at the moment and its about 420 round trip to dublin (USD), It's a good time to come, and fairly cheap to stay, especially if you do it in the US carribean (read: the KEYS) Islamorada or Key west are especially great places to be. Water is crystal blue, average temperature is about 82F. So its always beach weather. Plus being able to see the sun rise and set is a great plus, and hey - if jimmy buffet likes it (think margarittaville) how can it go wrong? i think it would be easy to do it for about 2500 USD but your talking Euro so you would probably have a good 700USD extra to spend out and about playing around. Plenty of good scuba places to go to, and tons of things to do in the art district. The Drive from miami is relaxing as well across the Keys, driving from island to island is really chill :)

I know im waxing on about it, but I honestly like it more than the carribean, (and as i have a boat, the bahammas are less then two hours any time..) i still prefer key west and islamorada.

Otherwise, St. kitt is fun as well, and fairly cheap.

Also AmericanExpress has some amazing deals including car+hotel!! so i would seriously consider it. If you have any questions about the carribean i can help with most of the eastern carribean :) good luck.

PS. - Puerto Rico is in the carribean also, Cheaper than the states , yet on the dollar and most speak english!

Thailand! Lots to do and the money will go far. Unlikely you'll be self catering but the food is so good and so cheap that you won't care!
