Yes this is an Instruments question..... I got a Pod X3 Live to play around with (very impressed) but I was wondering if there was a website that listed what Bands/Artists used in relation to gear. I'd love to try to replicate sounds with the Pod and see how close you can get.

I have managed to replicate my tone digitally :pac:

Heh heh heh, I know what you're going through. I picked up a GT10 last week as part of a trade for that Tele... where do you start? :D

I started on the Line 6 website which has a pretty cool set of accompanying software for it. The forums are great for information as everyone has used the product and some are pretty expert. I'd imagine the GT10 website is similar. I tell you Doc, I am having great crack with this.

Thanks Felim, that was the site I had heard of before.

i used my xt through tons of different amps and systems its pretty cool since you can replicate your saved tones through anything, there pretty nifty devices and im sure the x3 is even better

guitargeek is the only one i can think of, im pretty content with my slo/4x12 lead setting and fender reverb for cleans, takes a while to get to know the pod but wen u do its great

Not yet. I'll be sticking a good set of powered monitors in the back of it this weekend which will give me a good idea. I run it through the Loop return on my mesa at the moment. Sounds cool.

I Just bought another PA speaker for my room so my XTL's sounds are coming at me surround sound style now!, Lovin it!!

Have a look here, look at the links on the right, this dude has updates and lots more for XTL and X3 > http://benvesco.com/tonemonster/category/tones/

Then everytime guitarworld magazine posts tones he postes them up, zepp's no quarter one is great!

Other than that you should download the Gearbox program and when you hook up the Pod to your PC and play a normal song through the gearbox media player the sound comes out your PA and so does your guitar sound obviously so it makes it easier to know if your gettin a close sound to the song! I probably didnt explain that too good!
