    hi,

Ive been having problems within in the last 2 months or so with sweating quiet a lot mostly from my arm pits for no real reason.
Its like it happens in bouts as Ill be ok and then all of a sudden my armpits will be soaked.
It very annoying and cant find a reason for it.

So any suggestion as to how to stop this?

    thanks

There is a spray that a friend of mine usesfor a similar problem, you use it under your arms or feet or hands or wherever the problem area is say twice a day for three days and then you don't have to use it again until you notice the problem starting again. my friend usually gets about a month without having to use it again. I don't know the name of it right now but i'll ask my friend tomorrow, she'll be asleep now.

I use Maxim. It's a roll on you use at night before bed and wash off in the morning. When I first started using it it itched badly, but that stopped after about a week. At first I used it every night, then a couple of times a week, now I only use it when needed now which is maybe 2/3 times a month (I use a daily roll on as well, but before I used Maxim that did nothing for me)

Happens to me aswell. Doctor said it could be because of the tablets I'm on. I only wear black tshirts now cos I sweat so much at times. Even if its cold I still be soaking. No matter how much I wash or how many sprays I try it never goes away. Must try what last porter said.

Anhydrol Forte its a roll on and it works. About 8 years ago I started dripping from under the arms for no reason. I was about 26/27, and when I went to Australia it was a nightmare. Tried everything and nothing worked. With this stuff you gently apply it at night time, either when your going to bed or going out say.

Just one quick flick is sufficient. You wash under your arms in the morning, job done. It might sting at first, but I think it was because I was using it like a normal roll on. As I said just a quick dab don’t lash it on.

I’ve been using it for years. I think it costs 10 or 12 quid, two or three bottles will do you for a year. I apply it every second day or some times third. Its also odourless, I play drums and while the rest of the bands members are sweating bullets I’m bone dry.

Speaking as someone with sweating issues, is it not unhealthy to use something to prevent that? I;ve always looked at excessive sweating as a healthy thing tbh! releases all those toxins and crap thats in your body, I shower twice a day because of it though. I smoke so the BO smell isn't noticable (And obviously use deoderant)

It just seems a little off to take something that stops you sweating. If you don't sweat, what happens to all them salts and stuff that is supposed to leave your body?

Apparently Botox injections into the armpits stops sweating completely. Don't know if you want to go down that road but if it's becoming a big issue for you then maybe consider it.

Worked with a guy before that used to sweat a lot & it was disgusting. I'm guessing a daily shower, or weekly for that matter, didn't exactly feature in his world of hygiene so it meant he had the most horrific smell ever.

Buy Maxim. Its absolutely fantastic. Used it for a month. Have not had to use it now in over a year. You can buy it online I'm sure.

Dude, get to the bottom of the issue, dont just look for a quick fix.
I m in the same boat, it could be -15 outside and I still sweat like a pig. In my case its my thyroid, which is unfortunately working overtime, unbalancing hormone levels.
When I notice this getting worse I take some prescription drugs (hormones) but its not really a quick fix as hormone levels take about 1 week to go up/down.
If this is your case too, in the long run could negatively affect your body, and your mind too. You only need a quick blood test, I would suggest you do it.
    Best of luck,
    N

Obviously a similar product to the aforementioned - but Driclor solution is brilliant. I went through a few years of only wearing black or white tops so the sweat wouldn't show and would sit with tissues shoved under my arms at home!

Driclor is also a roll-on - stings like nothing on earth if you use it after shaving... but you wash off your day's deodorant, use this stuff and wash it off in the morning. It claims to work if used every couple of days but I gradually phased it out and now just give myself a top up every few months.

I asked my doctor if it was safe and he said to go for it, said I was very lucky to have found something that works. They definitely have it in Boots, but I guess most pharmacies will have it.

It quite literally changed my life, not exaggerating!

    nmesisca is right,
Get to the bottom of the problem and not just cover it up, again like nmesisca I've a thyroid problems and Ill actually agree in the last month I have once again become sweaty for no apartent reason. Its to do wit the weather chanigng and your body adjusting to it. Has your diet changed or lack of exercise recently?
