    Hi Guys,

Ive read loads up on rent to buy schemes and it does have its pro and cons like anything else but is a great step for first time buyers with no deposit, who would like to live in a house that they can makeover to feel more like home within reason.

I would appreciate if people would put up a few links for developers, estate agents and mortgage providers offering this in various counties around Ireland, especially Dublin

    Cheers

Only places offering it in Dublin at the moment are hoolees of towns like balbriggan. But it will all catch on and every new and probably second hand homes will eventually offer this as an option b or c in persuading buyers to enter the market. I personally don’t see anything wrong with it besides the over inflated purchase price to cover their arses for doomsday (except in balbriggan because who'd live there?). taking on a 3 year lease at huge rates now would be suicidal, rent on a yearly basis until the house of your dreams is 5 times combined salaries and by then you wont have a job so put a deposit down on your funeral arrangements instead.
