Credit Requirements for Online Retail Business

    Hi folks,

    I'm doing some cash flow forecasting for a new online business and am a little surprised by the short term credit requirements that are coming out.

    As a percentage of turnover, is it possible to say what a bank would typically be comfortable in extending to an online business?

    The credit requirement is mainly to cover stock costs and wage costs over the year. This seasonal aspect is particularly pronounced in this business as toys are a major component.

    Thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.
