PSP detection on computers

I have a laptop and a PC both running the same OS and both up to date with updates etc.

The PSP is detected fine on the Laptop but not on the PC.
I checked the drivers on the laptop and it uses USBSTOR.SYS and shows as a Mass Storage Device - PSP Type A.
It shows as unknown in device manager on my PC, so I thought that USBSTOR.SYS may be missing form the system32/drivers files. When I checked though, it was there.

    Any ideas guys?
