The AMEN break.

    If you are reading this, im sure you have heard of the famous Amen break.

    used in over 95% of jungle tracks.

    ive always wondered how this is not under the royalty radar.
    The break,is a drum break from the track "Amen Brother" by "The Winstons" its been chopped and changed,re-arranged,and spliced and diced over the years gone by.

    It has now made its way onto sample packs,sample DVD's,CD rom's,music production software,sliced and diced and ready to drop into a lush jungle track.

    But how did that get cleared? How?

    Big companys,like Zero G,as far as i know,provide the break on their sample packs,sliced and diced,and possibly in the raw form maybe? on their sample packs.

    I even heard the band never really got any money/proceeds from the use of the break!! Crazy...
