    Hi,
Just wondering for those of you that use the internet from your mobile regularly, what network / price plan are you on?

I have been with Meteor for a while now, my only complaint really is this euro a day thing with the internet.

Even if I use it just once or twice a day it ends up costing me a fortune, €20 credit isn't long going.

Just wanted to know if there was any better solution on a prepay plan?
    Thanks.

There's no better solution on prepay with Meteor.

Have a look at 3 maybe if you want 1GB for €10 / month maybe?
Vodafone if you want 19c /MB.
O2 have the same pricing as Meteor in terms of prepay data.

You're probably spending less with the 99c / 50MB / daily with Meteor now than you would have been beforehand, so in that regard it's an improvement over what used to exist. I agree that 99c / day does work out very expensive in a month though.

Thanks. Just had a look at the stickies, should have read that before starting a new thread :o

I like the sound of the 3 offer. I'd definitely consider switching if they have a free text offer to compare to Meteors.

Here's a post from the FAQ about data pricing

Tesco is one that few consider .. but I probably wouldn't go with it myself to be honest.

The 1GB per month for €9.99 is fairly sweet alright.
The talk and text offer seems pretty good aswell, for 99c you get 700 texts for a week, and 200 minutes weekend talktime to any network. Seems too good to be true.

Edit: Read it wrong, 99c a day. So is it €7 for a week of texts and weekend of calls?. Still not too bad.

Edit: Ya, it's 6.93 for the week.

and 70e free credit if you move your number to 3, you can pick up a sim for 9.99

best of both is worth a look as well....
