Hi all, going to Tenerife this weekend but we are seriously stuggling to find a hotel/apartment that fits our needs...I was hoping my fellow boardies could recommend somewhere.

All we are looking for is a place with a nice pool, close yto the beach, and most importanly, somewhere we aren't woken 10 times per night due to clubbers.

I'm hoping to book tomorrow evening! We'll condiser any price range.

    Thanks in advance everyone!

    Hi,

Well it depends on what you want to get. I was here:

    http://www.tripadvisor.ie/Hotel_Review-g187481-d530875-Reviews-Hotel_Acuario-Puerto_de_la_Cruz_Tenerife_Canary_Islands.html

2* Hotel. But de pool is on the roof, it's far from de beach, room that I was in was tiny, no TV... Though it's cheap and de food was de best I ever had in hotel. If you'll have a car and will come back just for a night to sleep it's not to bad, otherwise do some research on internet for other. BTW it's in north of Tenerife

Check the hotels around Costa Adeje, it's the furthest you'll get from the
chavs in Tenerife and is a newish resort with many 4 star hotels.

check out parque santiago apartments ,privately owned villas in a complex in the nice area of playa de las americas across the road from the beech.apartments come in all different sizes and most include flat screen tvs and dvd players.if your booking through an agent these will be more expensive than most hotels but if your booking separately you can get them cheap enough.this is next to the safari center and some great boutiques

Thanks for all the replies everyone!

We were thinking of staying in Los Cristianos, but we cant seem to find a quiet hotel. Adeje is very appealing but it seems very remote? Is there much to do there?

Costa Adeje being remote is what makes it good ;) You did say you
wanted somewhere away from the lager louts. It's only a short and cheap
taxi ride away from PDLA and the shops/clubs should you feel the need to visit.

If you want somewhere classy as close to PDLA as possible check
    http://www.bahia-duque.com/

the paradise park hotel (up a big hill though) or the arona gran are 2 nice 4* hotels in los cris.adeje isnt remote.its become very built up and is really an extension of las americas.del duque is further down.plenty of bars and restaurants along the fanabe/torviscas beach in adeje.

are you going with children? if so you HAVE to bring them to siam park.http://www.siampark.net/en/

also this time of year in tenerife, feck all clubbers, i have friends out there and its dead in the young part of town.wont be much noise anywhere.

Have this booked for later in the year, La Modeno is a quiet area just down the coast from Las Americas. The owners here offer a free pick up and return service from the airport if you want it as well.

I checked it out on Tripadvisor and it gets excellent reviews, works out at 50 Yo Yo's per night or 325ish if you book a week ( That's for 2 people including brekkie)
