    Hi,

How would one go about claiming Tax against Irish Rail tickets for 2008.

I don't use Dublin Bus so I don't see how the TaxSaver Commuter Ticket Scheme can benefit me.

    Cheers

You can get train only tax saver pass.

Don't think you can as you could be picking up tickets and saying their yours

    Thanks folks,

I'll check with my employer to see if they are registered. If not I will gather enough people to make them register :D

    Ok

My Employer is registered in the TaxSaver Commuter Ticket Scheme.

I am looking at getting a rail ticket from Maynooth to Pearse.

The monthly ticket costs €103 while the annual ticket costs €1030.

Do anyone know if the annual ticket is a rolling 12 month ticket or is it only valid in the current tax year?

    Cheers
