I'm sitting here in work counting my lucky stars after being knocked down on the way into work this morning. Was travelling at a fair pace on the inside of a line of traffic, when Mr.NoIndicator decides he wants to go left. I had zero time to react, next thing i knew i was flipping head first over his bonnet. Fair dues to him, he was out like a shot making sure i was alright, etc etc. And we exchaged details. Luckily i think i'm alright, bit of a busted knee, few cuts and bruises. I'm glad i had the helmet on, as i landed on me noggin. But in short i just wanted to say, be careful out there lads.

Is it just me or is this thread getting shorter by the minute? :D

You're lucky to be in one piece.
Travelling at a "fair pace" on the inside of a lane of traffic is not a great idea.
Caution at junctions is vital. Never trust indicators or lack of them.

I've lost count of the number of people that have done this to me, in the past week alone! Happens when you're on the left or right of traffic and can really catch you off guard!

I always just roll through junctions/entrances as a habit now, even still people can shoot out of no where!

Few weeks back, one of the worst so far, was coming upto a junction and a van taxi swerves into my lane (no indication!) as I'm just approaching the rear quarter and nearly rammed me into the curb/pedestrian railing on the corner of the junction - this was on my 'ped at about 40 mph! Imagine the mark that would have left on my chest!

    Crazy people out there!
