The dsi is €170, so it's €80 off. Not sure why you'd want to pay for the DSi when it's basically the same as the regular DS.

The regular DS can't connect to the online shop to buy games.

Pretty much the same deal in Game too.. trade in DS get DSi for €85. Probably the same everywhere then?

If only I hadn't killed my DSlite due to "rough handling" a week before I heard of the trade in deals, it was like they were rubbing my misfortune into a pile of dog poop, then into my face, the lousers, now I have to buy the thing full price.

Anyone know how the preorders are going?
    Is there massive demand?
    Will there be shortages?
Or embarrased climbdowns to claims of imminent sell-out of all stocks?

I have to agree Im afraid, so you can access online stores, big deal! Its hardly a ground breaking upgrade. Nintendo seem to have this fascination with getting something right once (ie. DS,Wii etc) and whipping the living sh!t outta that horse until they've flogged it to death....then they go about creating a version 2.0 of said device. A camera and better wifi access?! For how much? Leave me with my R4 and DS Lite...
