    just saw this thread on LFGSS and thought it would be useful for people here:

    although the details would be specific to England and Wales, the gist of it would be right for Ireland as much major legislation is leveraged from over the water to save on legal costs in implementing it here.

    Some of the details regarding forms etc. would be different but the general advice about information to gather and how to behave to protect yourself after an accident is fairly universal.

    The bit about documenting injuries is very important. The mildest scratch or bruise is an injury. The gardaí take it A LOT more seriously if there are injuries, however minor.
