European Road Trip

Hi, Myself and a few others had planned to go to the Rock Werchter festival in Belgium in July and the plan was to drive through the UK, get the Euro Tunnel and drive from france across...

Now it seems due to work commitments etc these dates are no longer possible. Does anyone know of any other destinations or festivals on towards the end of july that we could drive across europe to?

We're basically looking for an excuse to drive on the wrong side of the road and get away with it for a few weeks:D. anyone know of events taking place towards the end of July?all suggestions welcome. Not sure if this is the correct forum for this topic either??

hi, you could try the Benicassim Music Festival or FIB (Festival Internacional de Benicassim) which takes place from the 17th - 20th July...music on a Mediterranean beach, what more could you want!! Obv not sure what kinda music ur into, but looks like they've got some big acts this year..Oasis and the Killers etc. Would be a pretty long trip, but pretty awesome ..you'd go all the way through France and see a lot of Spain too! :P

Roskilde festival in Denmark is on in the beginning of July. The only problem with these road trips is it's almost all motorway driving and makes for a dull road trip.

Consider something a bit more interesting maybe...
