Anyone done any volunteering aboard with animals? looking for something that lasts for 2 weeks and over anywhere in the world. Not interested in those i-to-i type companies wud prefer to be actually making a difference. thanks

Hi Kazza, don't want to hijack your thread but looking for something similar myself, although not necessarily with animals. Have a couple of weeks off over the summer and want to do some charity work somewhere. Don't mind paying flights/accom etc but don't really want to have to pay for the privilege of volunteering. Anyone any ideas?
