    HI all,
I am travelling to Ireland in a few days time. The person who booked the flight for me, paid an ''online check-in'' fee and also a baggage fee.
My question is --what advantage is the online check-in to me, if I am bringing baggage? Doesn't that mean I will have to queue at check in desks with everyone else anyway? Can someone clarify this for me?
    Thanks

You will have to queue at the desk to drop your bag off.

If you online check in and have a bag its €30
If you desk check in and have a bag its €40

So the advantage is saving a tenner.
