Mini's are scary expensive in the UK. Very very desirable, and make good money. Look at UK prices, factor in travel costs and VRT, and look at Irish prices. Good chance you could buy one in Ireland as cheap. I saw a 05 Irish Mini sold in Dublin last week, was way cheaper than you could import one.

There are 08 MINIs on carzone for around 17-18k, with 156 Euro road tax. That's not bad for an Irish sourced car.

That seems like SO much money for a humble, small car that you will outgrow in a year, you could get a 'real' car for that, a 08 Mondeo Ghia, or a 08 Saab 93 in the UK for example. Still, horses for courses I suppose.

What's the point of that post Stevie? The guy's looking for a MINI, not a rep mobile.

Make sure you get the convertible model, so when its sunny and you're driving with the top down you'll be able to hear people call you a tosser..

IM JOKING! Good look in your hunt for a mini!
