It was just so good and so different from other versions of Batman.

Yes! Bruce Timm is a legend, great opening.

Except they kinda ruined it with Gotham Knights though, remember the character Baby Doll? She falls in love with Killer Croc, the whole thing was laughable and could have been solved in a flash by punching the little girl in the face. :D

That show was ahead of its time in my opinion. I watched a few episodes of it again about 18 months ago on Youtube and was surprised at how dark it was. They had guns and everything which you rarely see these days.

Definitely have some great memories from my childhood watching that show. I'm glad I grew up watching that rather than the piss-poor versions you see these days.

It was made of win. That darkness and intensity is what I hoped to find in the recent films. The dark knight was pretty close. I also loved batman beyond but I don't know how many will agree with me there.

It's too bad nobody can do as good a Batman voice as Kevin Conroy.

Brilliant programme. The new Batman Adventures wasn't as good but I can forgive them because of Justice League.

Thought Batman Beyond was a bit average with the exception of Return of the Joker.

Ah yes. Absolutely stunning cartoon series. Didn't talk down to kids and handled the subject matter in a mature fashion.

The current Batman series... Batman: The Brave and the Bold is well worth watching though. It couldn't be more different to Batman: The Animated Series, but it's utterly outstanding in it's own right.

I especially liked Beware the Gray Ghost episode.
Adam West provides the voice for a washed up actor who couldn't get work after becoming type cast as the super hero the gray ghost. An ironic touch.

The Mr Freeze episodes were good too, much better than the movie abomination.

Incredible cartoon series. Most people would consider Heart of Ice the best episode and whilst it probably is, my favourite would be Two Face parts 1 and 2. The way it shows Harvey Dents slow disintegration into becoming Two Face's character is brilliant.

I also like "Almost got im" especially the following exchange

    :D

The two excellent episodes. The Clock-king's story was also very well written.

Clayface was also good. The fact that the writers weren't afraid to write about cosmetic surgery and Hollywood's obsession with youth just proves how worthy this cartoon is.
