    Two old men sitting in rocking chairs on the porch of their battered up old house in the US countryside with shot guns on their laps, ready to shoot at anyone who is silly enough to drive towards their house.
    A pair of nasty old codgers who are still full of steel.

    I *think* Robert Duvall played one of the old fellas but a quick search of imdb and I seem to be at a loss.

    My Auld Lad loves this film and I'd like to get my hands on a copy for him.

    One of the old guys have a waster of a daughter who leaves her son with them one summer.
    It's basically their interaction with the boy.
    That and their intimidation of anyone who comes within gun shot or their fists.

    They had robbed a bank years back and had buried the money in the barn.
