Another Grant Question??

    I have gotten the grant throughout my 4 years of undergraduate studies and then again last year when i did a higher diploma in business studies...now since iv finished last may i havnt been able to get a job in the area i want so seriously thinking about going back to college next year to do a masters or a higher diploma in education....now my question is would i be entitled to getting a grant again??
    Thanks for any help, cant seem to get a clear answer on this!!

    You'd get a grant if the course you do is 'higher' than the one you did before, e.g. the degree is sommething like level 5, higher diploma is 6, diploma 7, masters 8, its on the grant application on front page what number each is. If you have a qualification at level 6 you will get grant at anything above that but not at the same level again or below.

    obviously you need to have other criteria (mature student for example) and your earnings within certain limits but thats all on studentfinances.ie

    Yeah, Truss has it right. It's possible to get a grant up to PhD (Level 10). Plus a HDip is seen as progression from a Level 8 Bachelors so keep that in mind :)
