Foreigners steal jobs from people - didn't you read the thread? Should be ashamed of yourself... :pac:

(Yes I know where I live....)

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

I went to a similar RDS thing for working in Australia. Was a total rip-off. We paid over a tenner each to get in and the place was just full of stalls with brochures on Australia - not a hint of information on actual 'jobs' or how to get them. Then we discovered all the jobs/ visa information was in a separate section that required another payment to enter. We left when we saw that.

I heard about one being held a few months ago, where a certain company that deals in issuing working holiday visas told everyone there was plenty of work in Australia, just so that they could get more sales by organising the visas. When the truth is that Australia at the time was heading for recession (its now in recession) and work was drying up. Australia is now cutting the number of visas it is issuing as it wants to protect the jobs that are available for Australians. I am currently in Melbourne, and started a job recently. I was very lucky to get it. I know a good few people who didn't have such luck, and have since had to go home.

Investigate yourself to see what the prospects are like in your profession, and don't listen to anyone with a vested interest.

Seriously,if you couldn't bother your arse to get up and go yourself,I feel fairly sure you would be of little use overseas working!

Forgive the bluntness of my message, think of it as a wake up call.

Meh I wouldn't say that. Exhibitions are all about companies selling and will tell you anything to do so. I have done quite an extensive research on various places myself already.
