Im watchin the fights here - its round 8 and he looks bollixed !

I dont doubt Lee will win, he is way ahead on points but is he more suited to super middle ?

I thought he had more potential than duddy before his loss against vera, maybe I bought into stewards hype ?

Lee doesnt look like a world champion based on this - is he too big for middle ? If duddy should go down to LM should Lee go to SM ?

Im watchin and hopin, do it for Ireland Bernard :)

I also thought Lee was something a bit special prior to Vera.

He just has'nt looked as convincing to me since that fight.

He's always great value for money though.....a real warrior and I love his style.

    EDIT: Great attitude as well.

Cracking fight, don't underetimate Sipos either. He had some losses lately but he is a tough nut and very dangerous.

Well done Andy Lee but the defence needs more work imo.

Listenin to manny steward, Andy hasnt fought in 8 months - and Sipo would be a test for anyone. I still reckon SM would suit him better.

My day will be made if I hear three words "AND THE NEW"

    We can live in hope....

I have been saying this about LEE from day 1. His stamina is a big problem for him. I wasn't at all impresed tonight. I just don't think Lee has what
it takes. Very predictable and one dimensional. He still looks amateurish!

World champ in 2010 then walshb;)

Ah no, I always agreed with you on Dunne....I dont know wheter I agree about Lee though. I still think he has a lot of potential. He's had a few mediocre performances and has a lot to learn still but I still think there is a lot of improving in him and he will certainly challenge for a world title someday.

No, Lee just will not do it, unless the champ is a real dud.
He lacks a bit of everything and in there tonight
he really struggled against a very ordinary man.

Lee lacks variety, versatility and stamina

It looked like he lacked stamina tonight Walsh but is that because of the weight hes boxing at ? Would super middle suit him better ?

He hasnt boxed in 8 months....

was lee';s opponent from the same gym? i saw him wearing a KRONK jersey.
Anyway I assumed he was so the fight was a sham to begin with.
and lee didn't look great either

but maybe he was "forced" to show up to make the undercard look good.

It was a real close one. imo Lee needs to learn a few things about when to fight close, when not to and also get rid of some really bad habits like keeping his head up and the like. Its still very much a learning curve for him so I hope his career progresses accordingly.

    quote from other website

The two men are already familiar with each other having sparred at a Wladimir Klitschko training camp in Austria last year. Lee’s trainer, the legendary Emanuel Steward was very impressed with Sipos during those sessions and even invited the German to train at his famous Kronk Gym in Detroit.

While Sipos never made it Stateside he’s coming to Dublin and planning on making Steward wishing he’d never set eyes on him in the first place.

Well, he didn't weigh in at middle; he weighed as a super middle last night.
Lee has stamina issues and always will, and always had. I like him, but he won't make it. He lacks too much of too much.

He also cuts too easily. Against better fighters i can easily see him stopped due to this. He is no where near ready to the fight the likes of Pavlik or Abraham. To be honest i doubt he ever will be capable of beating the likes of them.
