I can't make it to Dublin on the day although I would love to see Fagan go at this battle, can we get to see this live on TV or on the internet?

Yea I think RTE will be broadcasting it live! they had full coverage of it last year as well. It will be a great publicity for the sport to have an Irish winner if Martin can pull it off, which I think he can!

You've just made my day, I'm really looking forward to this, I'm running a 10K in Tramore that morning and I'll be sitting back to watch the fireworks in the afternoon.

100% sure its live on tv.wonder if jo pavey will run the womens race??
London Marathon around the corner.I fancy Wanjiru in the mens race and had a few quid on him at 9-4 the other day.
    Mikitenko should win the womens...
Think Fagan is thinking of a fast course for his next marathon (somewere in Holland)Boston a little too hilly.

Nope. She now has a bun in the oven so will miss 10k and marathon.

I was kicking around the idea of running in this but once I heard Fagan was racing Tergat I said no way...I have to see this:D

Fagan is probably my favourite athlete now and Tergat is a legend so I am absolutely dying for this. Should be a cracking race.

Really hope it's a good one Fagan is a front runner so he won't be hanging around looking for an oppurtunity - the Irish Half marathon record he just got should keep his confidence up.

We'd never be lucky enough to get a repeat finish of the 2005 New York marathon - with Tergat finishing second obviously :D. It fantastic to see an athlete of Tergat calibre running over here - hopefully this get a bit of a media build up as well

You could try get the start, then head to about the 4k mark, then follow acres road down to around the 6km mark, then dash back up for the finish, if your quick enough. See also:
