I am that bad at making tie nodes etc, yeah I tried many times over the years.
Anyway, I am pretty sure there must me some shops where they sell nice ties with elastics for dumbs like me?

    Anyone?

    Cheers

    No, interview with the FAI.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Elastic is for school children... get yourself a clip on tie ORRR get your mammy to tie it for you and just loosen it and pull it over your head so you never have to tie it again!! It's what I used to do in secondary school.

Pff. Its not even that difficult.

Look at me. Bring it around your collars like this... Then you cross them over kinda like this.. But wrap it around like so.. Then pull it through here.. Et voila!

    :)

No seriously guys I must have a mental disorder of some sort I am unable to tie a tie, I tried everything, videos, one to one teaching etc...

I just can't for some reasons.

Reason why I am after good looking ties with elastics.

You're not alone OP - my brother has the exact same problem! (Although his is due to a slight motor control problem.)

What he does is, he buys a normal tie. He gets my dad to tie it perfectly on him, then cuts out about three inches at the back (where it would be hidden under the shirt collar.) They then stitch in some thick elastic at the back where the bit was removed, you can get that from any dressmakers etc. And then he can just slip it straight on and off over his head without untying it. Result! Obviously if it ever gets messed up or anything he can just get someone to re-tie it for him.

I hope I explained that somewhat clearly ...
