Setting up a .com is so easy, but how do I go about setting up more than one .ie?

Id be looking a setting up several of them

How can I be trading as them all?

    Cheers

As far as I know, you would have to register a business name for each .ie domain you want. Registering a business name does not necessarily mean that you will be trading under that name.

The .ie domain name just as to relate to your business.

If you were a company called IT Consultancy LTD you could possibly have a domain like computeraware.ie or something like that.

I thing you can register more than one, but will need to be related to the main business name.

Might be a good idea to call or email someone like letshost.ie, they have a good price on .ie names at the moment too.

You can register as many business names as you like, its just a business/trading name, in turn you can also register as many domains as you want as long as you can show the business name you have is relevant to the domain name you want. So in some cases the business name might be ok for a few domain names if related, if not just register another business name and then the domain.

Thanks Axwell. I was wondering about that too. :)

Just be careful not to add .ie or .com to the end of your business name. E.g. if you want www.mybusinessname.ie as your domain, you only need to register "mybusinessname" as your business name. CRO do not accept .ie or .com's on the end of any business names any more. You register the business name and the domain registry will add the .ie or .com on after, depending on which one you want.
