I am sorry if this film had been discussed or mentioned before, but I have finished watching it now and I am still amazed. Idea is a little cliche, however the visual aspects are just amazing.

Ok, the film is about royal totalitarian emperor prisoning leader of revolutionaries. One guard gets manipulated and enables the "trial" - murder of the emperor. But the leader of revolution turns into totalitarian himself, by closing schools, ruling very strange rules and opening re-educating camps. The story is about the guard, how he was affected by what he saw on daily basis before and after revolution. And what happened to him after expressing his disagreement with the leader of the revolution.
From visual point of view, it was a feast. Music was captivating and the actors and actresses did their best. It was a pleasure to see the film.
Cliche about revolution going wrong way because of the leaders, and the brainwashing used in 1984, however as I said, very very good film, in my opinion.
