Hey folks, ive only quite relatively recent discovered Jurado having first heard one or two tracks from where will u take me,its a pretty thought provoking album,on my way to absence has quite a few beautifully written songs.I still have yet to listen to his other older albums which i cannot believe ive not ever heard of till so recent, hidden gems is an understatement.

Been repetitively listening to caught in the trees the past week, sheets & gillian was a horse are pretty amazing.Though i have noted this most recent album is a bit different to the 2older albums ive heard of jurado, but certainly impressive.Ive just heard 'medicated'probably one of the most emotionally charged songs ive heard.Well worth a listen. Most ppl i know so far have no clue as to whom this guy even is!?Is this gal alone in the discovery that is jurado:)

'Ghost of David' is my favourite Damien Jurado album. I would definitely recommend it. He released a full electric band album 'I break Chairs' a few years ago which is....ok. I haven't heard caught in the trees yet - I had forgotten about him for a while.

I think Bon Iver has listened to more than a few Damien Jurado albums too!
