Central locking problems in Ford Transit.

    Anyone know anyone handy around Dublin with Central locking on Ford Transits? Any tricks?

    Have difficulties with door solenoids not engaging rear and side cargo doors after locking. DOE failure and need it sorted.

    Check the rear rhs door opening, there is conduit carrying the wires from the body to the door and inside it the wires usually short/break causing what you describe.

    AFAIK, doors not locking on a van is not a DOE failure unless there is no steering lock fitted.
    Page 27 of the manual states that door locks not working where other means to prevent vehicle from being taken are not provided. (ie ignition)

    I have never failed a van or truck for faulty door locks unless they got sh1tty with me before hand
