Sorry if this is wrong forum. You guys have more knowledge about these things, than the Holiday forum.I need some advice re connecting flights in Singapore. In November I'm flying to Perth with BA/Qantas for work. My flight from London arrives at 8am in Singapore and the departing flight to Perth is at 9am. Is that enough time to transfer between the flights? If I miss my connection any idea how long I would have to wait for the next flight? I will be flying business class so should be one of the first off the plane.

    Any advice much appreciated.

Seems very short to me , but I don't know the setup in SIN .

I assume you would have to pass p/port control ?

Other people who know SIN may be able to comment better . I always leave at least 2-3 hrs layover , after all the flight from LHR could be 40 mins late , which isn't much on a 10 hr flight.

If it is a single booking then the airline(s) are obliged to get you there, irrespective of any delay. As a J class, if you miss the connection the business lounges in Sin will provide much needed tlc.
If however this has been booked as 2 separate flights, then the onus is on you to make the connection.
I would check with your employer to see which this is - if not already known. if its the 2 flight deal ,i think 1 hr is far too tight

I did those flights couple of years ago, not on the same day mind.
We had stopover in Singapore. I know that morning of flight to Oz we arrived pretty early and the place was empty but that was before 7am.

1 hour for connecting flight is cutting it very fine, I have done it but usually late at night where the queues are much shorter and you can get easily through airport and see where you are going.

As other poster mentioned was this ticket booked as complete trip ?
I presume it was as you are going to Oz on business.
I don't think their is another Singapore - perth Quantas flight until next day ?

EDIT: there is a Jetstar flight around lunch nd another Quantas in the veening it appears.
BTW jetstar is like Ryan Air and you could get hammered on baggage.

I will tell you this much you will be truly knackered when you get to Perth.
Oh and ond't bring any foodstuffs or dirty boots, as you will be held up with customs when you get their.
Singapore - Perth is reasonably long flight as well.
    Enjoy the ice cream ;)

I am not allowed discuss …

Thanks for the info. It is business trip thankfully as it is the only way I would ever end up in business class. The ticket that was booked was one single booking.

I rang Qantas as they will be operating the flight to Perth and they say it is enough time. Customer Care Agent told me inbound flight from London as long as it gets out of Heathrow on time usuall gets in around 7:30/7:45am.
