Do you need a PPSN for an Irish Driving License? I can't seem to find a definitive answer for this. According to citizensinformation.ie the motor tax office may ask you for a birth certificate or passport for identification when you apply. It does not mention a PPSN number being needed...?

This is for a new license, tests need to be done etc.
