Holyhead to Cardiff

Hi, Myself and a pal have just been offered tickets to the match. Only way I've managed to find a way to Cardiff involves getting the ferry from Dublin to Holyhead and hopefully finding a way down. Is anyone driving, want to share expenses? Thinking of getting the ferry on Saturday morning. There's 2 half-decent rugby fans desperate to get to Cardiff at the last minute. Any help appreciated.

    Thanks in advance, C'mon Ireland

Fly to Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham or Bristol and get the train. Even London is only 2hr train journey.

Did the Holyhead to Cardiff gig before, but it took 6 hours or so... was there for the France v NZ 1/4 final but it was a late kick off... not sure if you'll be there on time! Flying is prob better option but obviously more expensive nearer the day!

Leave tomorrow, take the day off work and spend the night in Cardiff.

I have a Ryanair flight to Birmingham tomorrow night coming back Sunday that's about to go to waste cos now I can't go :( Free to a genuine fan - you'd only have to pay name change fee.

Did you manage to get sorted? I have booked the car-ferry across from Rosslare but we didn't managed to get tickets :( so was not going to go. Wouldn't mind going and even watching in a pub in Cardiff..

Haven't got sorted yet. Someone very kindly offered a flight going to waste but I couldn't leave a man behind. We'd take you up on the offer from Rosslare. When are you booked to leave, possibly come back? Our tickets are only 50/50 now but I'd rather take the chance. Thinking a pub over there is the place to watch it if you can't get into the ground. Anyway, if you want to risk it we'll lump in.
