I'm making one of these for myself for a 6ft bed. I found it too dear everywhere to get what I was looking for. I bought the material and foam in northern Ireland for less than half the price of Hickey's. The shop I got the material in is called Dunelm its on Boucher Rd in the retail park.
What bed base do you have I'm having problems finding the base I want.
