I've been looking for one of these for quiet some time now and this is one of the best i have seen, what do you guys think.

Seems expensive to me considering the year and the mileage. Pretty high spec alright (for an Audi) which would suggest it is an UK import.

Did you explore going to the UK yourself for one?

Ye im planning a trip in May and was actualy looking for a 05 with good spec and this caught my eye, nice car, minus the alloys but i think ill stick with my plans for a weekend in May but i might just pop over and have a look at this one first and see what happens....

Yep good game plan to make two trips over, first one to do some r&d, see what you are looking at, etc. The second trip then to do the buying.

Buying on the first trip can be fatal as you are putting yourself under pressure and might end up with a piece of crap car for the sake of being there.

As an Audi driver myself I must say this has an amazing spec. If it had the S-line I would think it was nearly a good price but at €16,500 with 98Kmiles then certainly not.

Also the fact it is in miles means it must be an import because all 05> cars came with KMS in this country.

I paid that money for an S Line 60k miles only yesterday so its a bit pricey for something with 90k miles. I would also think it is a UK car because it would be the 05 2.0 tdi are rare in Ireland and Id say no Irish person would pay for all those extras. Also the bodywork is spotless another sign its not Irish.

There's a fella on here, and on vagdrivers.net with a mint black A4 140 bhp. Looks a cracking car. Could be worth looking him up, (sorry don't know his username, he might see this thread though lol:o)

did ya try ac autos in enniskillen...they bring over audis the whole time with low milage (around the 30 to 50k miles) ud clear one for about 15k and maybe less. was up there about two months bk and was about to deal but decided to think about it and it was sold when i went bk..bought one last month with pretty high spec from a local dealer, 35kmiles warrented (ex eng) and cleared it for 15k.....checked milage with a mate of mine who works for audi. if u disconnect an abs sensor and connect a diagnostic kit, it will tell ya at what miles the prob occured....pretty simple really:)

www.tvscars.co.uk is a good site for used Audi.
I have no connection with them.

    Great spec on that one!

Its definitely an import, the clock is MPH and thats an "end of year" number for a Laois plate.

No harm in it being an import though - as long as the seller is not trying to pull the wool over your eyes somehow.
