Irritated Face - At Wits End..

    Hi,

For some time now I've had an issue with my face flaring up with lots of red blotches - it always looks really irritated and has really been getting me down as affects my appearance and hence my confidence - each day I come to work I can see people looking at it and as a result I've become really paranoid. I should point out that I have Psoriasis so this could be a factor.

I went to the doctor some time ago about it and he didn't seem to know what was causing it - said something must have changed in my environment or eating habits but can't think of anything that has. He prescribed me some Hydro cortisone cream which does help but this is a steroid cream and long term affects mean I don't use it all that often - I wash with Silcocks Base and use Elave Shampoo - I use "King Of Shaves" foam and face wash (designed for sensitive skin and as moisturiser I use:

    1. For my face (Asteral or Aveeno)
    2. Body (Dead Sea Lotion)

I exercise regularly and have an extremely healthy diet so am at my wits end as to what I can do..

If anybody has any suggestions or has experienced something similar I would be really grateful to hear from you.

    Thanks.

    EireEV

You really need to discuss this further with your doctor - if the first treatment is not ideal, he/she can try another.
