Haven't used my printer in a while.
Need to print something and it's coming up

The printer cannot communicate with the computer.
Power is on (I can scan okay)
I've changed both the USB cable and the connections.
I've disconnected the power lead and tried again.
The last thing it says is check your firewall settings.
Printer is a Dell AIO 810 and computer is just over 3 years old, Dell Desktop.

Any ideas of what's wrong and what I should do?
    Tx

Sometimes printers just sh*t themselves. Try going online and getting a driver for that particular printer and try again.

I've uninstalled the printer and reinstalled it but still no luck.

Did you disconnect the printer from the pc before downloading the driver again? If not then try it.

If that fails try ---Start-run-type msconfig- go to services- scroll down and find printer - checkmark it and apply.

    Try print now.
