    Im a big fan of the A5 and the Cortina MK3 so dont think Im Audi bashing its just that I cant help but think they look like they are related. This doesnt bode so well for the A1 though. What do you guys think?

    +1 for the Cortina.

    Don't like those stupid Audi daylight driving lights, they are just annoying.

    I can see the similarities between the A5 and Cortina. Kind of has big shoulders over the rear arches.

    would agree on the a5,cortina as they both have the same stance if you can say that about a car:o

    First time I looked at an A5 I just thought it looked like a MK 3 Cortina the whole side profile and the rear arches in particular. And thats no bad thing , I like both cars. But last night looking through the new Top gear mag there is a picture of the new A1 as a 5 door and I actually thought it looked like a Maestro :eek:. But as I looked through more pics of the 3 door I just kept seeing the Allegro.

    Im not to gone on thoses daytime driving lights either. They look a bit gimpish, kinda trying too hard ....

    In fairness though they do liven up one of the most boring looking cars on the road when fitted to an A4 (yawn).
