There is quite a sad article in the onion recently about a man at the end of this heyday. So is your heyday past present or future?

That's a very sad article. It must be very hard for anyone to realise their best days are behind them and that nothing still to come in their life will ever match that peak period.

Luckily for me my halcyon days are still ahead of me. June 15th 2012 until September 9th 2019 to be precise.

I think you would have to be a bit more familiar with the style of the onion and how its articles are written maybe. It generally has a story like that most weeks.
