Lads,

I've used the search function for last 40mins but i can't find what i'm looking for.

I need to get a lot of work done on my alfa 156 and i'd like to bring it to a competent garage that is used to working on alfa's.

Sometime in the past 6 months i spotted a post in a thread with details of 2 alfa specialists in the midlands, one was in portlaoise and the other was somewhere near longwood co meath. It may not be longwood, but it was somewhere in that general area . . I think.

Does anyone know this garage?
I know of T1 autos but i don't want the hassel of having to drive up to dublin if someone close by can do the work.

any info is appreciated . . .
cheers ..
SOP

the only place in Portlaoise that springs to mind is Lismard Autoworld the Alfa main dealer.

I don't know of anywhere in Longwood I'm afraid

The guys in JOMO Engineering in Killucan (outside Mullingar) look after my fleet of Alfas and performance Fiats, the number is 044 9376700, ask for John and tell him Liam sent you ;)

btw, he will slag you off and declare you mad for having an Alfa, but don't mind him, he will only be messing with you! ;):D

It would've taken more than that to kill my Alfa: something like a w@nker who doesn't check the oil level would do it, though.
