    Hi, recently won a new epiphone les paul standard plus top on ebay.co.uk and havnt payed yet because I just realised how much of a price difference there is between this one and one on any other site. I got the guitar for €330 and they sell everywhere else for over €450. Is there a possibility the guitar is a fake or anything or should I just shut up and be happy with a bargin? cheers,Ian

    Post a link or some pics and we'll be able to help. But i'd say €330 for a standard on ebay is even a little bit high. They sell new online for 450, so take 100 or so off that for second hand, and a little bit more for ebay pricing :).

    But if you're unsure, post some pics/links and we'll have a look.

    Could just be new old stock. According to my google search soundslive.co.uk was selling the same model linked above for 269 sterling not too long ago.

    Hmmmm,is the one you bought from the same seller?.

    It looks fairly legit, feedback seems reliable and the price isn't anything out of the ordinary. If it were me, i'd go for it.

    If you really want to be sure,then you could ask the seller to send some good closeup pics of the particular les paul you bought, but i'd say it's fine :).
